About Us
Fort Energy was founded by Ronan Purcell, in 2021 after he spent over 10 years working in the Australian energy industry across EPC, retail energy, energy generation, wholesale and regulation & policy of microgeneration. Prior to that Ronan spent 12 years in the Irish Defence Forces as an Engineering Officer.
Ronan and the team bring experience in energy audits and efficiency roadmaps for energy cost savings in addition to the development, design, procurement and construction of bespoke and complex solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) and electric vehicle charging networks.
Ronan Purcell is an individual member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and Engineers Ireland. He is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) and an SEAI registered energy auditor.
